QA & Release Manager
Contract, on-demand. Fully remote.
Resonator is a semantic peer-to-peer protocol where all communication, state, and computation are RDF. There is no server and no central feed: nodes exchange end-to-end encrypted RDF over a DHT, UDP broadcast, or static peer lists. The project is currently a proof of concept, so the work is hands-on and the surface area is small but moving fast.
We are looking for a QA & Release Manager to own manual testing and releases.
What you will do
- Run manual test passes across the desktop app and protocol tooling before each release.
- Assure application functionality: verify new builds do what they claim, catch regressions, confirm fixes.
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports and track them to resolution.
- Prepare release notes for each version: what changed, what to test, known issues.
- Own the release process: tag, package, sanity-check the build, and publish.
- Maintain a lightweight test checklist and keep it current as features land.
Our stack
You do not need to write production code, but you will test against and read around this stack:

Cryptography is NaCl. Identity is a small keypair file: no accounts, no servers.
What we are looking for
- Solid manual QA instincts: you find the edge cases and you write them down.
- Comfort in a terminal: building from source, running CLIs, reading logs.
- Clear written communication. Release notes and bug reports are the job.
- Bonus: exposure to any of Rust, C, Flutter/Dart, RDF/SPARQL, or P2P networking. Not required, but it helps you test faster.
Availability and workload
This is intermittent, on-demand work, not a full-time position. Expect bursts: in the early phase releases may come frequently, then quiet down to roughly once every couple of weeks. We need you to communicate your availability clearly and in advance so we can plan release windows around it.
Compensation
Flat 200,000 - 300,000 AMD per month, regardless of how busy a given month turns out to be. Fully remote.
